meet Miranda Ott - an OTF scholarship recipient!

the future of the turfgrass industry relies on the passion and dedication of the next generation (go get ‘em kids!) and thanks to your continued support, students like Miranda Ott are already making their mark.

Miranda is a second-year student at The Ohio State University, studying Turfgrass Science with a minor in Entomology. recently, she shared a quick video with us explaining just how much her OTF scholarship has impacted her academic journey. for Miranda, the scholarship meant a release from the heavy financial stress that often accompanies college. instead of worrying about making ends meet, she has been able to pour her energy into her coursework, study abroad opportunities, and hands-on internships. you go girl!

currently, Miranda is spending her summer interning at Sleepy Hollow Country Club in Briarcliff Manor, New York, where she is learning golf course maintenance from some of the best professionals in the business.

"These scholarships really mean a lot to me because they show just how welcoming and supportive this industry is, and how much they really believe in their next generation of leaders," Miranda shared.
