🌱Something is Growing at OTF...
From new committee openings to a total program renovation, see what's changing this April.

The Ohio Turfgrass Foundation thrives on the dedication of our members. We are currently looking for passionate professionals to join our committees and help steer the future of our industry.
Why join a committee: Serving on an OTF committee is an excellent opportunity to network with peers, develop leadership skills, and have a direct say in the events, programs, and advocacy efforts that impact the Ohio turfgrass landscape. Find the committee that best fits your expertise below:
Conference & Trade Show: This committee manages the operational backbone of our annual event, focusing on event logistics, sponsorships, and on-site registration. Members work behind the scenes to ensure a professional, seamless experience for every attendee and vendor from start to finish.
Allied Organizations & Advocacy: This committee strengthens industry ties by collaborating with external partners like the Ohio Lawn Care Association and GCSAA chapters and monitors legislative issues that impact turfgrass professionals. Members serve as vital advocates, ensuring our community has a unified voice in regulatory and environmental discussions.
Partnerships: The Partnerships committee focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate sponsors and industry vendors. By identifying new opportunities for collaboration, this group secures the vital support needed to fund OTF’s various initiatives.
Membership: Dedicated to growth and engagement, this committee develops strategies to recruit new professionals and enhance the value provided to current members. It serves as the "voice of the member," ensuring OTF continues to meet the evolving needs of our community.
Future of the Industry: This forward-thinking group identifies emerging trends and creates initiatives to attract and support the next generation of turfgrass leaders. It focuses on workforce development and bridging the gap between students and seasoned professionals.
Scholarship Selection: Members of this committee review applications and select deserving students to receive financial aid for their turfgrass education. It is a rewarding opportunity to directly invest in the academic success of our industry’s future experts.
Annual Fundraiser Golf Outing: This high-energy committee organizes all aspects of the annual tournament, from venue selection and player recruitment to sourcing prizes and sponsors. The group's work is essential for raising the funds that power turfgrass research and student scholarships.

We’re Renovating Our Partnership Program 🚧
Just like a great turf renovation, sometimes you have to strip things back to build something stronger.
At the Ohio Turfgrass Foundation, we are constantly looking for ways to provide more value to the industry leaders who support us. That is why we are writing to let you know that we are currently restructuring our Corporate Partnership Program.
We aren't quite ready to pull back the curtain just yet, but we wanted to give you a heads-up that positive changes are on the horizon.
What we are working on
Over the last few months, we’ve been analyzing how to make your investment go further. The new structure is currently "under construction," but is being designed to offer:
🎯 Tailored Solutions: The ability to mix and match opportunities that align with your specific objectives.
🤝 Flexible Reach: The ability to dial your visibility up or down based on your seasonal needs, rather than being locked into a rigid annual calendar.
📈 Higher Value: By cutting out the benefits you don't need and doubling down on the ones you do, your investment goes further.
When will you see it?
We plan to unveil the new structure on April 1, 2026.
What do you need to do now?
Nothing yet.
We encourage you to start thinking about what your biggest goals are for the upcoming season. When we launch, we want to be ready to build a solution that hits those targets directly.
